Last spring I visited Milan. We spent 3 days in the city, sigthseeing and eating great italian food.
The most important is the Duomo, which is the biggest and most beutiful attraction next to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
You can go up to the Cathedral where you can have a breathtaking view to the city. (you can by your tickets here: https://www.duomomilano.it/en/guided-tour-and-incentive/)

Next to the Cathedral there is the Gallery, it’s one of the most famous one in Milan where you can find all the designer brands and great restaurants. It’s also worth to visit even if you don’t want to buy anything or you consider it too expensive.

After walking a lot of kilometers and maybe you want to have a but of a rest, you can have a picnic in the park of the Castel Sforzeco (https://www.milanocastello.it/en)

The view is amazing and there are a lot of other people who are enjoying the sun during the afternoon. If you want to see everything you should plan it beforehead to have enough time for eveything. In the website you can find the openning hours and you should also keep in mind when the sun goes down.

After sunset or if you want to enjoy the sunset from a nice spot, I can recommend Navigli (an area which is crossed by the river. You can drink some tasteful Aperol Spirts on the side of the river or you can have a few bites.

There is also a great ice cream/crepes shop, where an old nice man making it with caring and he is so nice. I can 100% recommend it if you are a sweet tooth.

Accomodation
We were at a hotel a bit further from the center but it was at walking distance and with a nice weather it’s totally worth it walking in the small streets and visiting the real part of Milan as well.
Most of the hotels have breakfast, so you can eat in the bufee in the morning and later in the after noon you can find great “taglio” pizza, they sell it for gramms and you can decied how much you want to order and also you can choose more flavours for the same price as if you order one average size pizza.
