Anna – Seychelles Part 1
I visited the Seychelles in August 2022 and want to share a little bit about my journey. If you don’t know: the Seychelles is a country in the east of Africa. It consits of several small islands and only has less than 100.000 inhabitants in total – so it’s pretty small! Its currency looks like this:
It’s called Seychelles-Rupee. 1 SCR is currently worth around 0,07€. The Seychelles isn’t a very cheap destination, but my boyfriend and I decided to save up and visit this tropical dream-destination!
Since it has to import most of its groceries, food is pretty expensive there. The only really afforable options are the so-called take-away shops. These are kitchens, belonging to locals, who sell food to-go. We loved these, and got them many times.
In total we visited the Seychelles for around 2 weeks and stayed on three different islands: Mahé, Praslin and la Digue.
